The Titanium Ring Shop loves working with Koa wood as an inlay material in our titanium rings. Simply put, Koa wood makes a stunning ring. Unlike the 100% Koa wood rings, a Koa inlay ring will last forever and will not, over time, become worn down like a 100% wood ring. Our previous post highlight two of most popular rings: Curly Koa Inlay Titanium Ring and our Dark Koa Wood Titanium Ring. These are great basic rings and are offered at a very affordable price. In this post, we’ll highlight some of our other rings with koa inlays.

Titanium Ring Shop About Our Exotic Hardwood Inlays, New Products, Our Titanium Ring Inlays koa wood rings
Some of our most popular rings at the Titanium Ring Shop are made with Koa wood inlays. Koa wood is a wood that is indigenous to Hawaii, and is noted for its beautiful colors and spectacular grains on the wood. In ancient times, Hawaiians would hike to the top of the mountains to seek out Koa wood to make their dugout canoes, spears and bowls. These days Koa wood is used in fine furniture, ukeleles and all sorts of Hawaiian handicrafts.
Some people may be skeptical about the use of wood in a ring. Is it durable? Is the wood exposed to the elements? Rest assured, our titanium rings with wood inlays are made to last a lifetime, and under normal circumstance, will. First of all, the base of the rings are made of incredibly durable titanium. The wood (or gold or mineral or gemstones) are then inlayed in the titanium, which is cut with a groove to accommodate the inlay. For the rings with wood inlays, several layers of a sealant and protective coating are then applied to the wood. You can see why it takes a few weeks to make one of our handcrafted titanium rings. Finally, the ring is inspected and shipped to the buyer. If your ring does become damaged, send it back to us; we offer full refinishing and repair services, usually covered under our lifetime materials and craftsmanship guarantee.
Titanium Ring with Curly Koa Inlay
This is our most popular titanium ring with a Koa wood inlay for a good reason: this ring looks great! The deep, resonant colors of the curly Koa wood inlayed in the silver-gray color of titanium make for a truly spectacular ring. As with most of our rings, the pictures do not do them justice, as everyone who sees them in person usually starts with a “wow”.

Titanium Ring with Dark Koa Wood Inlay
Another of our very popular Koa wood rings is our ring with a dark Koa wood inlay. This ring has deeper colors than our curly Koa wood rings. For those seeking a unique titanium ring that exudes elegance and class, this is a great choice at a very affordable price. These handcrafted Koa wood rings are made by artisans who pioneered the use of titanium rings with wood inlays in the mid-1990s. They have been making these stunning rings since then.
