Grown at fairly high elevations—300’ to 7,500’—Koa wood grows well on all the Hawaiian Islands. The best conditions exist, however, in the deep volcanic soils on the “newer” islands—Maui and Hawaii Island (the Big Island). All of the Koa wood used by the Titanium Ring Shop is sustainably harvested.

Koa wood ranges from light brown to a deep browns. Each wood is unique, so the Titanium Ring Shop artisans take great care in selecting the finest Koa wood available and using techniques that have been developed in over 15 years of working with wood inlays.
